EuroMedAI to Host Global Dialogue on AI Governance Side Event in Geneva

EuroMedAI is pleased to announce that it will host a Global Dialogue on AI Governance side event in Geneva, held alongside the United Nations Global Dialogue on AI Governance, in partnership with BRISD and the Global Center on AI Governance.

Why This Matters

AI governance is moving from abstract commitments toward implementation. For many communities, the central question is how global evidence, technical expertise, and governance frameworks can become locally useful: stronger institutions, better public services, safer deployment practices, and practical tools that serve the public interest.

This side event will create space for intercultural dialogue on those questions. It will examine how evidence can inform readiness, how public-interest AI prototypes can make governance more tangible, and how diverse regional perspectives can shape implementation pathways that are more inclusive and accountable.
