EuroMedAI at the Forum
A EuroMedAI delegation is in Paris for Forum week, taking part in two ways.
1. Our stand in the Space for Solutions. We present our support initiative AMSA-AI: AI Literacy for Inclusive Local Governance at our own stand on the first floor of the Musée de l’Homme. AMSA-AI was selected through the Forum’s 2026 Call for Solutions as one of 40 solutions chosen worldwide from 607 applications, submitted from more than 30 countries.
2. Five sessions in the official programme. Mohamed Alouane speaks for AMSA-AI in the roundtable “Is AI narrowing or widening the opportunity gap?” on 10 November, 14:45–15:45, moderated by Dr Valerie Nkamgang Bemo of the Gates Foundation. Members of our delegation also take part in four more sessions on AI openness, North–South AI cooperation, AI governance and trustworthy AI. They are marked ★ in the table above, and detailed in the agenda below.

About AMSA-AI
AMSA-AI helps elected women, civil-society leaders and local advisory bodies use AI safely and practically in their governance work. It combines a locally adapted AI mentor, available on the web and on WhatsApp, with practical training, human-centred co-design and safeguards on privacy, misinformation and source verification.
The first pilot is in Morocco’s Béni Mellal-Khénifra region. There, 115 local stakeholders have taken part in co-design workshops, and the tool has supported 25 elected women and 10 civil-society leaders. AMSA-AI is led by AIDECA with EuroMedAI as its partner for replication across the Southern Mediterranean. The pilot is implemented under DDI MENA, led by Innovation for Change – MENA Hub with the support of CIVICUS.
Meet the Delegation
Visit the AMSA-AI stand in the Space for Solutions, or write to contact@euromedai.org to arrange a meeting during Forum week. We want to hear from public institutions, funders and partners interested in AI literacy, local AI governance, AI safety, or adapting AMSA-AI in their country.
