Join Our Mediterranean Network
Be a part of our vision
We warmly welcome all interested individuals and organisations to join EuroMedAI and help shape a safer, more inclusive AI future for the Mediterranean.
EuroMedAI is a Euro-Mediterranean Network for AI Governance that connects researchers, civil society organizations, and technologists across the region to promote responsible AI development and governance.
We welcome academics, policy experts, ML/AI researchers, civil society organizations, industry representatives, and young professionals interested in contributing to responsible AI governance in the Mediterranean region.
EuroMedAI was born from the Anna Lindh Foundation's ALForum in June 2025 in Tirana, Albania, where participants were challenged to turn dialogue into action through the forum's Driving Action pillar.
Our activities span six interconnected priorities: advocacy and policy dialogue, research and community-based action, communication and knowledge dissemination, resource development and alignment, capacity building, and the Mediterranean AI observatory.
Members can co-author policy briefs and toolkits, participate in policy dialogue sessions, and contribute their expertise to shape AI governance frameworks that reflect regional values and priorities.
We offer a Youth Fellows program that provides mentorship, access to community labs, networking opportunities, and hands-on experience in AI governance research and advocacy.
EuroMedAI is funded by the time and resources of its members and operates through bootstrapping. This grassroots approach ensures independence and alignment with our community-driven values.
