AI Literacy · Local GovernanceEuroMedAI supported the launch of the AMSA-AI platform, an initiative for inclusive AI literacy in local governance across the Mediterranean. Under the Digital Democracy Initiative Middle East & North Africa (DDI MENA), led by Innovation for Change: MENA Hub with support from CIVICUS, the platform helps local stakeholders (elected officials, civil society leaders, public officials, and researchers) use AI safely, responsibly, and effectively in their communities.

Research · Policy FrameworkA comparative framework assessing the AI maturity of eight South Mediterranean countries across compute, data governance, skills, adoption, and enabling strategies. Building on the UN Global Digital Compact and the Secretary-General's report A/79/966, it maps countries onto a five-tier maturity scale and proposes practical pathways for capacity building.
