Tirana, Albania
Born from the spirit of collaboration at the Anna Lindh Foundation's ALForum 2025 in Tirana, EuroMedAI transforms dialogue into action.
In June 2025, civil society leaders, academic institutions, policy makers, and technologists from across the Mediterranean gathered in Tirana, Albania, to turn dialogue into action.
The Driving Action pillar of ALForum inspired the creation of EuroMedAI, a network dedicated to responsible AI governance, cross-cultural innovation, and amplifying Mediterranean voices in the global AI landscape.
First coordination meeting
After the network took shape in Tirana in June 2025, EuroMedAI members held their first coordination meeting to align on next steps, working groups, and early priorities around multilingual data, capacity building, and responsible AI governance.
