EuroMedAI is pleased to announce its participation in the 5th UfM Digital Transformation Conference, organized by the Union for the Mediterranean (UfM) in partnership with the Antalya Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ATSO) and the Kumluca Chamber of Commerce and Industry, with the support of the European Commission (DG Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion).
EuroMedAI’s Contribution
EuroMedAI will be part of the conference and contribute to the discussions on digital skills, job creation, and e-governance. Faten, EuroMedAI representative, will present findings from EuroMedAI’s latest AI capacity report, focusing on how Mediterranean countries are addressing AI talent shortages, skills gaps, and capacity-building needs.
Conference Focus
The Conference will focus on Digital Skills and e-Governance Solutions that can be replicated and scaled in the region. Building on the UfM’s expertise from former editions, it will explore the extent to which digitalisation can contribute to the overarching regional vision of more competitiveness and preparedness.
The working agenda includes sessions on digital skills and job creation, e-governance solutions, group work on digital skilling in Türkiye and e-governance in Estonia, speed networking, and a second-day study visit to Antalya Technopark and the Old Town.

- Exchange insights, experiences, and best practices with partners and stakeholders from both shores of the Euro-Mediterranean region
- Address current opportunities and challenges in unleashing the full potential of digitalization
- A study visit to introduce participants to pertinent components of Antalya’s digital ecosystem and tech-driven development
