Shape the rules that shape your future
Artificial intelligence is already influencing how people learn, work, communicate, and access opportunities. Yet young people are too often discussed as users of technology rather than included as contributors to the rules that govern it.
Gen Z × AI — Shape the Rules is a selective, certified workshop designed to put youth perspectives at the centre of AI governance. Organised by EuroMedAI in partnership with Amnesty International Tunisia, the session will bring together 14 selected participants for an expert-led talk, practical group work, and collaborative proposal development.
What participants will do
During the session, participants will:
- Decode the ethical and human-rights issues linked to AI, including questions of fairness, accountability, inclusion, and agency.
- Exchange with experts from EuroMedAI and Amnesty International Tunisia and connect local concerns with wider AI governance debates.
- Work through concrete cases to test principles against real-world situations.
- Co-create youth-led proposals that can inform the project’s next public phase.
A two-phase project
This July workshop is the foundational phase of the broader project “Gen Z and AI Governance: Empowering Youth for Ethical and Inclusive Digital Futures.” It creates a shared conceptual and methodological base before a larger public panel planned for September–November 2026.
The autumn panel will build directly on the workshop’s findings. It is intended to widen the public conversation, bring together institutional partners and civil society, and present the evolving Tax Talks Hub platform as part of the project’s work on AI governance in Tunisia.
