On 12 May 2026, EuroMedAI organized a workshop on Digital Security and the Safe Use of AI for local stakeholders.
Overview
The workshop brought together elected women and men, civil society leaders, public officials, and researchers to explore how AI and digital tools can be used in a safe, practical, and responsible way in local contexts.

The session covered key issues including safe use, privacy, misinformation, interpreting AI outputs, and escalation rules, helping participants better understand both the potential and the limits of these technologies.
